Opening Day was a blast!

Here's a reminder of what's planned for the rest of the week:

• Tuesday is Crazy Hair Day...go for it!

• Wednesday is Water Day. Wear your swimsuit under your clothes and bring a change of clothes and a towel

• Thursday is Bring a Friend Day....Let your friend experience what fun you've been having. VBS attendees who bring a friend will be entered to win a prize.

• Friday the concluding festivities begin at 11:30. Rejoin your children for the closing assembly, slide show, and family picnic. Siblings and grandparents are welcomed too!

• VBS kids are invited to sing the VBS songs at Heritage Church’s 11:15 Worship Service on Sunday. We hope you'll be able to join us.

Our mission project for VBS is The Doorway. For more info about them you can go to their website www.doorway.org or ask one of the teen volunteers from our youth group. Many regularly volunteer at the Door Way’s after school program. Children who feel led to may contribute to the loose change offering to benefit the children and families of the Doorway.

Join the Fun at Gadget's Garage!

At Gadget’s Garage VBS, we’ll learn about Jesus, meet new friends, get to do fun activities, sing awesome songs, make crafts, play games, eat snacks, and more! We'll learn that through Jesus God’s Always Doing Great, Exciting Things (G.A.D.G.E.T.). It’s going to be fun, but it would be more fun with you there. Can you join me?

Children age 4 to entering 6th grade.

Early Bird Registration is April 6th. The registration fee is $25. A great value for a whole week of fun. However, before April 6th, the fee is just $15. Early registration helps us with our planning. You can register at the door, however, if you know that you'll be attending, please register now.

Heritage VBS Fun!

Above is the VBS Slide Show. It is a glimpse of the over 100 people (children, their families, and youth and adult volunteers) that attended VBS to learn that Jesus is our Forever Friend! I lost my camera which has more photographs yet to be downloaded (please pray that I find it!). Many volunteers, children and activities aren't in the slide show. I have the most photos of water day. If any one has photos of the week, especially the picnic and the kids singing in Church on Sunday, please send them to me to add here.

Thank you to all the families who let their children attend. And, thank you to all the volunteers both teen and adult. This vital ministry wouldn't have been possible nor would it have been so much fun with out each of you.
